The vision for the birth of Kripa US Inc. took seed in Nov 2005 when its founder, Bryant Mascarenhas, had a deep spiritual experience at a yoga retreat in Goa, India with his life-long yoga teacher and mentor the beloved Father Joe Pereira. and the seat of the heart (the emotional centre) is awakened. Here Guruji Iyengar demonstrates how modifications and props make the asana (posture) accessible even to those (center two people) affected by drugs, alcohol and HIV/AIDS. Our program can be incorporated directly into an existing treatment centre, and also supports afflicted people in an after-care support mode. Call us if you would like to incorporate our specialized yoga program into your treatment centre. 25 years Kripa anniversary in India - August 2006 Father Joe Pereira is the founding director of our sister organization, Kripa Foundation.
